Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, is an advocate and supporter of the development of women’s sports. In 2020, he made a big investment in the women’s soccer club, Angel City FC. Hollywood actress, Natalie Portman is the founder of this Los Angeles-based soccer club. A few days back, Ohanian attended a pre-season game of his club. Recently, he also posted a photo on his social media, as he caught up with the players of Angel City FC.
After a decent start to their preseason campaign against Wave FC, Angel City FC will face OL Reign in the Challenge Cup 2022. Meanwhile, during their practice session, Alexis Ohanian dropped by to encourage them for the Challenge Cup tie. Also, he posted a photo on his Instagram, where he was having a few words with the players.

In 2021, Olympia and Alexis Ohanian both announced on social media that Olympia is the co-owner of the Angel City FC soccer club. Thus, she became one of the youngest owners in the history of sports. Also, Ohanian is the lead investor in that club, among other famous players, like Mia Hamm and others.
A few days back, Ohanian and Olympia attended the first pre-season match of Angel City FC; the result was 1-1. Despite the result, it was a historic occasion for the club, as it achieved its dream of playing in the NWSL (National Women’s Soccer League). Now, they will play for the Challenge cup against OL Reign today.
Meanwhile, the founder, Natalie Portman and Ohanian expressed their joy over the crowd attendance in the previous game. They both shared posts on social media, thanking all the crowd for supporting their team. Portman also joined with the crowd during the match, as she was trying to hype them up.
