Fresh off his return to the PGA Tour at the 2022 Masters earlier this month, Tiger Woods’ retirement seems like a faraway thing. But he has been working on other things lately, including a new putting course he helped design.
Taking to Twitter this morning, Woods offered up a “sneak peek” at new putting course he helped design for PopStroke Golf in Sarasota, C. The course is set to open on Thursday, April 28.
Per a PopStroke press release, the course consists of two 18-hole putting courses. The new venue will also include an outdoor dining area and a playground.
“We are excited to introduce PopStroke to the Sarasota community as we continue our expansion,” Woods said. “PopStroke is about bringing friends and families together to create lasting memories around the game of golf. We have created two 18-hole putting courses that can be enjoyed by all, regardless of age or skill level. We look forward to welcoming a new generation of players to our unique putting experiences at PopStroke Sarasota.”
The project was led by TGR Design, a golf design firm formed by Tiger Woods himself with the goal of creating “exceptional golf experiences.”
Tiger has given the sport of golf so much in his historic career and he is intent on giving back to the sport.
