Tiger Woods is known as a great gentleman and a man who marked an era of golf. Many times Woods showed his quality, gained huge popularity, and found himself at the very top. Tiger Woods’ caddy Joe LaCava is a great motivation for Woods and the person who gives him the biggest support.
In an interview with the Dan Patrick Show, LaCava talked about Tiger Woods and the relationship he has with him. Both have great respect for each other. “The greatest thing about Tiger is that he treats me like a friend and a buddy,” LaCava told the Dan Patrick Show.
“I understand I work for him and I get that, and get that relationship part of it, but I am more like a friend than an employee, and that is fantastic”.
Although the media often talks about Woods in a negative context, about his affairs, and incidents, it seems that Woods is a different person after all. The two never had an argument or any kind of conflict. LaCava emphasized that Woods is an easy person to work with.
“I can honestly say I have worked 110, 115 tournaments and he has never yelled at me once,” LaCava said. “He may give me some grief if my teams beat his teams, but that’s the only time. He is the easiest guy in the world to work for, he takes ownership of everything”.
Tiger Woods’ future
What many are interested in is the future of Tiger Woods and the date of his return. Woods recently revealed that we cannot expect his return soon. The injury is still serious and it will take time.
“Maybe something next year. I don’t know. But nothing in the near future,” he said, as quoted by usatoday. “This is it. I was just hoping to play this one event this year.”
